Additionally, during this time I have provided strong leadership as President and Vice President, respectively, for the Shoreview Economic Development Authority. I have also represented the City of Shoreview on the Lake Johanna Fire Board, Lake Johanna Relief Association & Northeast Youth & Family Services. These opportunities have given me the chance to serve as the voice of our residents. Included in my experience is the privilege of working with the Mayor and the rest of the Shoreview council members.
What would be your top three priorities if elected?
How would you characterize the business climate in Shoreview and what is the role of businesses supporting quality of life issues in the community?
Our business community is vibrant and visionary. In the reality of the Pandemic, the impact is important and experienced Council members will bring much needed consistency at a time like this. We have worked to also make available grants to support our small business community.

If so, what steps would you take to understand the impact of an ordinance on the many types of businesses in Shoreview and how would you define any exceptions to those policies?

Working in the area of security, I bring that knowledge and experience to helping our community to continue to bring an environment of safety and security for our
residents. This is an ongoing strategy our Council works with public and private partners. Public/private partnerships address this in collaboration with the Council. We have visionary business and educational leaders. As we address COVID and the impact, they will be part of the community discussion to retain, and bring business to Shoreview.
Are there any services currently provided by the city that you believe should be cut back or eliminated? Are there new opportunities to share services with other entities?

Again, at this point in history, the one thing I encourage is even more active participation in our community, in your own way, for the common good as we continue to celebrate our growing diverse population. I have great confidence in our abilities and know we can continue to make our future bright in spite of any obstacles. That is Shoreview. That is why I love serving my community.
